The Clayton Mark Foundation has applied for recognition as a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) and is currently awaiting IRS determination. We are able to accept donations while our application is pending. If our application is approved, IRS rules generally allow tax-exempt status to be recognized retroactively to our date of formation, which may allow donations made during that period to qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions. Donors will receive a receipt for all contributions and should consult their tax advisor regarding their individual circumstances.

Your donation helps fund scholarships, tools, certifications, mentorship, and career support for students pursuing careers in the skilled trades. Contributions may support tuition, training costs, required tools and equipment, certification exams, apprenticeship preparation, resume and interview support, and other career development opportunities. The Clayton Mark Foundation mission is to help hardworking young people build meaningful careers and successful futures through the skilled trades.

Yes! We are always looking for mentors, employer partners, school partners, volunteers, and community advocates. Skilled trades professionals can serve as mentors, employers can provide internships and apprenticeships, schools can help connect students with our opportunities, and supporters can help spread the word about our mission. Whether you contribute your time, expertise, connections, or financial support, every involvement helps us empower the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
-
Yes! The Foundation welcomes financial and in-kind donations. In-kind donations may include tools, toolboxes, equipment, safety gear, training materials, certification exam vouchers, professional services, event support, apprenticeships, internships, job-shadowing opportunities, and workforce development support. In some cases, a donated opportunity can be just as valuable as a donated dollar. A mentor, apprenticeship, internship, certification voucher, or professional introduction can have a lifelong impact on a student’s future.
-
Absolutely. We proudly accept donations made in honor or memory of loved ones, mentors, teachers, trades professionals, veterans, and others who have made a meaningful impact on your life. Because the Clayton Mark Foundation was established in memory of Clayton Mark Randall, honoring and celebrating the lives of others is deeply aligned with our mission. Tribute gifts are a meaningful way to celebrate someone’s legacy while helping provide scholarships, mentorship, and career opportunities for young people pursuing careers in the skilled trades.
